Y1 Science Week

Year One have had a super Science Week! We learnt all about Jane Goodall, a British scientist who moved to Tanzania to study the Chimpanzees. She lived with them to find out all about them. She learnt that they can use tool and they are carnivores! We wrote up what we had learnt about Jane in fact files!

We also had some exciting workshops this week. A lady came into school to talk to use about fossils and we were able to touch some very old fossils of dinosaurs teeth and different sea animals.

On Thursday we had a trip to the Science Museum. We went to the Pattern Pod and used our senses to find different patterns. It was lots of fun!
