Year 6 have been learning about blood and the circulatory system. We discussed how and why blood moves around the body. Then, we went out into the playground to act it out! Some members of the class act as the heart, the lungs and the rest of the body, whilst everyone else were blood vessels. The blood vessels had to move the blood carrying oxygen from the lungs to the heart to the rest of the body. Then, they had to move the blood carrying carbon dioxide from the rest of the body to the heart and then to the lungs.
It was great fun!
