At Marlborough we encourage parental involvement in all aspects of school life. We are appreciative of any support parents can give the school. Please see your class teacher if you would like to help in any way.
Parents are very welcome to attend any school event such as class assemblies, performances or concerts. Details of these events can be found in the regular newsletter which is sent home on a Friday and published on the front page of the website. . If you wish to help on trips or in class on a regular basis you will need to apply for a Disclosure and Barring Service check via the school office.
Parents meet every Friday morning in school at 9.30am to 10.30am after Special Mentions Assembly. This time provides the opportunity to network, make new friends, plan meetings with the school about issues that affect you as parents, as well as discussing ways in which parents can support the school and the school can support you. All parents are welcome to come to join in any session. Friday morning meetings are very welcoming and friendly and if you are a new parent or wish to be more involved in the life of the school then this is the place to be!
Each class has a parent representative who acts as a point of contact for new parents and also to help promote school events.
Please check your child’s book bag or pockets for any letters each day. A newsletter comes out every two weeks on a Friday. Please make sure you read this as it contains relevant information about school life
